Welcome to the world of Sorry. A band whose warped melodic sounds blur the lines of genre conventions and their two critically acclaimed records, 2020’s 925 and 2022’s Anywhere But Here have led to a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic. Comprised of Asha Lorenz, Louis O’Bryen, Campbell Baum, Marco Pini and Lincoln Barrett, Sorry have been creating groundbreaking music since they were teenagers and have become the favourite band of everyone’s favourite band.

Foggy Notions presents: Panda Bear - Button Factory, Dublin - May 31st, 2025
Panda Bear, the solo project of Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox, announces his new full-length Sinister Grift, due out February 28, 2025 on Domino. Lennox recorded the album at his Estudio Campo in Lisbon, Portugal and co-produced it with his Animal Collective bandmate Josh Dibb. Today he shares the album’s first single “Defense,” which features Cindy Lee, the drag queen pop persona of Canadian musician Patrick Flegel, on guitar.
Sinister Grift is available for pre-order on limited-edition Clear vinyl (Domino Mart), Curacao Blue vinyl (indie exclusive), standard LP, CD, and digitally. All LPs include a double-sided 12”x36” poster. Also available for pre-order on the Domino Mart is a limited-edition Sinister Grift shirt. Domino Mart | Digital
Two decades since debuting as the masked-and-nicknamed drummer and vocalist of Animal Collective, Noah Lennox has led so many creative lives, navigated so many different styles, and been part of so many beloved recordings, that it can be easy to overlook just how consistent his creative vision has remained. From landmarks solo albums like 2007’s Person Pitch and 2015’s Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, to breakthroughs with Animal Collective like 2004’s Sung Tongs and 2009’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, to his boundary-pushing collaborations with Daft Punk and Solange, Dean Blunt and Paramore, all of his work followed an instantly identifiable emotional throughline while influencing multiple generations and genres of artists.
On Sinister Grift, Lennox’s first solo album in five years, he has returned with another statement that feels equally cumulative and unprecedented in his catalog. While his solo records have ranged from starkly intimate expressions of grief to colorful, electronic opuses, his music has never before sounded so warm and immediate. Working in his Lisbon, Portugal home studio with Animal Collective bandmate Josh “Deakin” Dibb, Lennox transforms Panda Bear into something resembling an old-school rock ensemble, playing nearly all the instruments himself and inviting kindred spirits into the process such as Cindy Lee, Spirit of the Beehive’s Rivka Ravede, and—for the first time on a Panda Bear solo album—each of his Animal Collective bandmates.
“Working on this record felt like a sacred and warm return. Noah and I first started putting music down to multitrack cassette in 1991. 32 years later and working in the same fashion, two friends alone in a room searching for sounds and feelings that move us, I am very proud of what we created together. Sinister Grift feels like the songwriter I've known for over 30 years but also feels like some sort of new chapter for Noah. Couldn't be more proud of the result.” - Josh “Deakin” Dibb
“A classic rock dream that ebbs beautifully into a little bit of a nightmare.” - Daniel Lopatin
“Noah has the ability to be incredibly concise in his songwriting. Feels like every idea, every word and every sound is there to serve a purpose - the purpose being the actual song. Sinister Grift has that all-timer feel to it, as if the songs have been around for decades and at the same time full of fresh new light as though they’re pointing forward.” - Maria Reis
"In these dark times we all need music to get through life. Panda Bear has the magic, his voice feels like the medicine to heal this world. Noah has given us Sinister Grift, I feel relaxed and the beach doesn’t feel far away. Merci Noah for the gift.” - DJ Falcon
“Sinister Grift is a beautiful album. Everything sounds authentic and natural, as if it has always existed and will continue to do so. True and timeless. Thank you Noah.” - Alan Braxe

Have A Nice Life formed in the early 2000s when its two primary members, Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga, were studying at the University of Massachusetts. With the aim of crafting "oddly
aggressive acoustic songs," the duo spent five years meticulously constructing their debut LP, Deathconsciousness, a 2008 release that rippled across the post-punk landscape.
Deathconsciousness is now hailed for its anguished subject matter and unwaveringly lo-fi production, and it is considered an experimental cornerstone. The album's haunting themes and complex soundscapes resonated deeply with listeners, leading to a cult following that grew steadily over the years. The record's unique blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and industrial influences set it apart, earning critical acclaim and a lasting legacy in the underground music scene.
In 2014, Have A Nice Life released their follow-up album, The Unnatural World, which continued to explore the dark and introspective themes of their debut while further developing their distinctive sound. Their third album, Sea of Worry, released in 2019, saw the band incorporating more diverse musical influences and refining their production techniques. Sea of Worry blends elements of goth rock, post-punk, and shoegaze, delivering a more polished yet equally intense listening experience. The album tackles themes of existential dread and anxiety, resonating with listeners through its powerful lyrics and immersive soundscapes.
Have A Nice Life's live performances, though rare, are highly anticipated events, characterized by their intense energy and the duo's ability to translate their complex studio work into powerful live renditions. Despite maintaining a relatively low public profile, Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga have cultivated a dedicated fan base and continue to influence a new generation of musicians drawn to their uncompromising artistic vision.

Gang of Four have announced their final North American Tour labeled ‘The Long Goodbye’. The band – touring as Jon King (vocals), Hugo Burnham (drums) and David Pajo of Slint (guitar) will say farewell to fans across North America and Europe in 2025.
The show will mark a celebration of the band’s live performances. The iconic debut album ‘Entertainment!’ is still as relevant, exciting, and influential as ever. After 45 years, the band will play the album front to back, followed by a second set filled with fan-favorites and hit songs.
As pioneers of the post-punk movement, Gang Of Four’s music favored tense rhythms, percussive guitar, and lyrics that traded in Marxist theory and situationism.
“2025 will be the 45th anniversary of the release of ‘Entertainment!’ in the US, and will be our final year as a band. It’s been wonderful, but all things must end. We want to go out with a bang and celebrate with our fans and friends. So, on what will be our last US tour, we’ll play two sets at each show: ‘Entertainment!” from start to finish in the first, and the best of the rest in the second. Come and join in, it’ll be a blast!”

DAYSEEKER embody what a rock band can be in the 21st century.
Untethered from rules and agnostic of genre confines, the Southern California quartet—Rory Rodriguez [vocals], Gino Sgambelluri [guitar], Ramone Valerio [bass], and Mike Karle [drums]—exist outside of any and all boundaries. As such, they seamlessly absorb culture at lightspeed, layering hypnotic hard rock and metallic catharsis above soundscapes punctuated by glistening post-pop, experimental indie, and alternative R&B.
Tallying hundreds of millions ofstreams, selling out shows, and earning acclaim from the likes of Alternative Press and more, the band crystallize this outlier vision on their 2022 fifth full-length offering, Dark Sun [Spinefarm Records]. “Overall, it feels more grownup,” observes Rory. “It’s less like we’re scene kids trying to be a rock band, and we’re actually a group of guys making rock music on our terms. We realized we were happier creating this way.”

Holter’s music is multi-layered and texturally rich, often featuring an array of instruments played by an ensemble of creative musicians. She has amassed a body of work that explores melody within free song structures, atmosphere, and the impulses of the voice.
