Machine Girl
Machine Girl have always operated as an inimitable, inventive, and individual sonic phenomenon. The newly trio’d—Matt Stephenson [vocals, producer], Sean Kelly [drums], and Lucy Caputi [guitar]—fortify a punk exoskeleton with electronic alchemy and cinematic ambition outfitted for an uncompromisingly heavy attack. Rave, metal, punk, and pummeling electronic (and real) drums collide and splinter like shrapnel into kaleidoscopic blasts of vibrant color and visceral sound.
CURVEBALL: Secret Sessions
January marks the 15th instalment of Secret Sessions - our fully secret line-up gig where the artists are only revealed once they step on stage.
Past Secret Sessions have featured the likes of Shiv, Moio, Chameleon, Jafaris, SweetLemondae, and Sarah Crean, with each night offering an intimate, high-quality live music experience.
Secret Sessions is run in aid of the Musical Youth Foundation, helping provide instruments and music lessons to Irish children who might not otherwise have access to them.

Initially a rare live performer, Richard Youngs now embraces the stage.
Born in Cambridge and raised in the Fens, Richard Youngs began making music at the start of the seventies. His early work centred on the family piano. When this was sold in the late seventies, however, the classical guitar and cassette recorder became his instruments of choice, along with anything at hand that made a sound. From then on he has played any number of roles with bands such as Astral Social Club, Concrete Hedge, No Deserts, Jandek and Future Pilot A.K.A. Recent collaborative work with Andrew Paine, Heatsick, Kawabata Makoto and John Clyde-Evans also show him as a highly social musician.
