Experience the warmth, charm, and uplifting indie-folk sounds of When Chai Met Toast as they bring their hit tour Joy of Little Things live to Dublin
On Saturday, August 8th, we celebrate 2 years of BassLine Dub with one of the most exciting names in house music, Sem Jacobs, at The Button Factory.
Barbi Recanati is one of the most influential figures in contemporary Argentine alternative rock and indie, known not only as a musician but also as an activist and cultural promoter. She first gained recognition leading ‘Utopians’, the garage rock band she fronted for over a decade, earning a Latin Grammy nomination before the group disbanded in 2017. She then launched a solo career, shifting from raw punk to a post-punk and new wave sound shaped by synths, chorus-heavy guitars, and introspective melancholy.
Like the towering mounds of toxic waste from which it gets its namesake, the music of Oklahoma City noise rock quartet Chat Pile is a suffocating, grotesque embodiment of the existential anguish that has defined the 21st Century. It figures that a band with this abrasive, unrelenting, and outlandish of a sound has struck as strong of a chord as it has.
