Afrofusion & Global Sounds

After a winter hiatus, Nosso Mambo returns to Dublin Saturday March 7th to launch its new residency at Curveball, inaugurating the Spring Series with a night dedicated to Afrofusion and forward-facing global club sounds.

Expect a tightly curated journey through Batida, Amapiano, Kuduro, Afropop, Reggaeton and Dembow edits, interwoven with Baile Funk and diasporic club rhythms. Percussive, bass-driven and engineered for high-energy dancefloors, this is music rooted in movement and cultural exchange.

Leading the opening edition is one of the early pioneers who helped introduce Afrohouse to Ireland, returning with their signature Batida sound. syncopated drum patterns, raw Lusophone textures and a driving pulse that has shaped dancefloors across the city.

As always, Nosso Mambo brings a considered selection of international DJs, connecting underground club culture with global sound system traditions. This residency marks a new chapter: a consistent platform for these sounds at the heart of Dublin nightlife.
