PANAMANIAN FOLK DAY – DUBLIN 2026

On Sunday, 27th of September, we are bringing people together for the 1st edition of Panamanian Folk Day – Dublin 2026, a celebration of Panamanian culture, folklore and traditions organised by the Panamanian Folk Dance Group, founded in January 2025.

This year’s event will feature a very special moment: the first Panamanian Tuna in Dublin. A Tuna Panameña is one of our most vibrant traditions, where musicians, singers and dancers move together through the streets, sharing the energy and joy of Panamanian culture through music and dance. It will be a unique opportunity to showcase this tradition in the heart of Dublin.

The event will also include Panamanian folk performances, tributes, Panamanian artists, cultural presentations from other countries and a traditional dance party to close the evening.

We also want to welcome everyone who is interested in learning more about Panama and experiencing our culture.

Day: Sunday, 27 September 2026
Place: Curveball, Temple Bar, Dublin
Doors open at 3:00 PM
Programme starts at 4:00 PM
Event ends at 10:00 PM

Whether you are Panamanian, have a connection to Panama, or simply want to come along and enjoy the day, everyone is welcome.

Come and experience an afternoon and evening of culture, music, tradition and community.
