The four-piece post-punk band from Mar del Plata, Argentina, formed in 2018 by Ignacio Perrotta and Irina Tuma (guitar and vocals), alongside Luana Giobellina (bass, backing vocals) and Mora Murguet (drums). Blending gothic influences with shimmering melodies and an unmistakable pop sensibility, the band has become one of the leading names in Argentina's new wave of independent music.
Renowned for their intense and captivating live performances, they have built a relentless touring reputation in their home country, headlining clubs across Argentina while also sharing the stage with legendary acts including Iggy Pop and Public Image Ltd. (PiL).
In April 2025, Buenos Vampiros completed their first European tour, performing more than thirty shows across the continent. Along the way, they shared stages with acclaimed artists including Sistema de Entretenimiento, Tetas Frías, Viuda, La Plata, and Ana Curra, further cementing their growing reputation among European audiences.
To date, the band has released three critically acclaimed full-length albums through Casa del Puente Discos, produced by Estanislao López, with Spanish editions released by Spinda Records. Their records have earned widespread praise in Argentina while attracting increasing international attention, establishing Buenos Vampiros as one of the country's most exciting and distinctive contemporary bands.
Following the success of their European debut, Buenos Vampiros are currently putting the finishing touches on their fourth studio album, set to further expand the scope of their dark, melodic sound and continue their growing international momentum.
