casa faro & live tonite present Spanish punk rock band 'Mujeres' Irish debut show on November 8th at the Curveball from 07 PM
What can be said about Mujeres that hasn’t already been said by the press or fans after one of their concerts? Is there anything else left to explain about a band that has demonstrated with each record and live show that they are one of the great indie-bands of Spain? Mujeres started making rock and roll at a time when pure rock was not very well considered on the country's independent scene. But they never gave a damn about being cool. And so, without looking back, they began to gain unconditional support and inspire others to pick up an instrument and form a band... like the ones that swell the ranks of their current label, Sonido Muchacho.
After fifteen years together and a catalogue that goes beyond literal language, the legendary Catalan three-piece will take over Curveball (upstairs the button factory) in Dublin for the first time. Local irish band support: Pretty Police. Don't miss out!
