‘Summer of Soul’ was named after a documentary that came out in 2020 retracing the Harlem black festival of 1969 -- a powerful music and political festival during the civil rights movement that connected the struggle of black people in America to the struggle against capitalism, war and imperialism.

On Thursday 18th July, in the Crowbar Terrace (Button Factory), join us for an event rich in music celebrating the diversity of Ireland, and of empowering political words linking our struggle to the one of Palestine, of women, of trans people and more. This Pride season we say: No pride for some without liberation and self determination for all!
