Dublin Pride, Trad is Amach and TradFest Temple Bar present a night of LGBTQ+ trad and folk music at one of Dublin’s best live music venues, the Button Factory.

Traditional musicians, singers and dancers from the LGBTQ+ community have performed at the popular Dublin Pride céilí every year for almost two decades. In recent years, this community of LGBTQ+ trad performers have come together to form a queer trad collective ‘Trad is Amach’ with continuing appearances at Pride and for the Irish Traditional Music Archive.

This year’s Dublin Pride TradFest Temple Bar night will feature the Pride Céilí Band and other Trad is Amach groups with plenty of reels and jigs, and trad songs from a different perspective. Come join us for a great night of music and a celebration of our trad LGBTQ+ community.
