Coming up behind established talent like Rejjie Snow, 21 year old Drummer/Producer/rapper Alex Gough is helping blaze a trail for Irish hip-hop internationally. Following radio support and prominent placings in high profile playlists, heβs racked up millions of streams for his 2019 debut EP, β80%β, and earned a high profile sync on the BBC adaptation of Sally Rooneyβs βNormal Peopleβ.
According to Gough, future material is set to be even more diverse. Forthcoming mixtape Forever Classic is billed as 90s-inspired but with a range that reportedly extends from bossa nova to the breakbeat and Beastie Boys-influence of lead single βHeart Attackβ. Itβs this combination of creative restlessness and undeniable talent that makes Gough an exciting proposition, even if heβs far too modest himself to admit it.

The Button Factory is dedicated to ensuring compliance of all government guidelines during COVID-19 and to ensure the health & safety of all guests, artists and staff.
A COVID compliance officer will be on site at all times. All staff will wear masks, as well as a one way system in place for guests entering the venue and for access to the bathrooms.
All tables and surfaces will be wiped down and sterilised before and after each show.
Contact details for each person/group will be taken at the door, for contact tracing purposes and temperature checks will be carried out with each customer upon arrival.
